RCA 25th Anniversary Happy Hour

Celebrate RCA's history during this kick off happy hour, hosted by your RCA volunteers!

  • Dress Code: We haven't been anywhere in months, so let's have fun and dress up! Dress shirts, ties and sparkles are highly encouraged. 
  • Libations: Make your favorite cocktail or pour yourself a glass of beer and let loose. 
  • Activities: Show us how well you know RCA (and other topics) in a rousing game of trivia!

Wonder Room Networking

Join RCA volunteers in the Wonder platform where you can move from "room to room" to discuss various topics.

Get ready for direct one-on-one conversations and connections! Icebreaker, an online networking tool, will help elevate your conversations and guarantee conversation and matches! You will get to enjoy:

Food Evolution Competition

The Food Evolution Competition challenges students to formulate sustainable commercialized products, increase nutritional content through value-added processing and troubleshoot cost reduction strategies within the evolution of foods that will allow us to feed the future.

Student Culinology® Competition

The 2021 Student Culinology® Competition is designed to promote healthier food that can be served at the students' own universities. Winners are eligible for cash prizes and national recognition. Contestants must be active RCA Student members to enter either competition.

Get close to the brilliant minds of RCA+! During this networking hour, selected RCA+ speakers will host "rooms" in the Wonder platform. This is a great opportunity to get a deeper dive into session topics and ask your burning questions.

BlueNalu Essay Competition

Mixology Competition & Happy Hour

The 2021 Culinology® Cocktail Competition will feature guest judge Dave Arnold, author of Liquid Intelligence: The Art and Science of the Perfect Cocktail. During this happy hour, up to four finalists will present their original cocktail creation using one of Dave's signature techniques: rapid infusion, agar clarification or enzymatic clarification. Grab a drink, join your friends and cheer on a winner! 

 

It's a Small World: Regional Networking

Friday, March 26 | 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. CT 

Join a panel of RCA regional chairs to learn more about RCA's regional hubs, their successes and where members can get in on the action.
Move into breakout rooms led by regional chairs to discuss how you can get involved, share ideas for future events and ask questions.
